Welcome to Venezuela! Your private taxi (approx. 40 km, 45-60 min) will transfer you from Simón Bolívar International Airport to the cozy Buenavista Inn. Take time to rest, adjust to the tropical climate, and prepare for the journey ahead.
Early morning transfer (approx. 40 km, 45-60 min) to the airport for your flight from Caracas to Puerto Ordaz (approx. 1 hour). Upon arrival, a private taxi (approx. 50 km, 1.5 hours) whisks you through lush scenery to the Orinoco Delta. Board a riverboat for the last stretch to your eco-lodge, deep in the jungle. Enjoy your first delta sunset and a delicious dinner.
Wake to the sounds of the rainforest. Spend the day exploring by canoe and on foot: visit Warao indigenous villages, spot monkeys, parrots, toucans, and river dolphins. Try piranha fishing and learn about jungle survival. All meals included; overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, enjoy a final wildlife excursion. Return by boat and private taxi (approx. 50 km, 1.5 hours) to Puerto Ordaz. Check in at your posada and relax—perhaps explore the city’s riverside parks or sample local cuisine.
Set off early for the scenic drive south to Santa Elena (approx. 690 km, 10-11 hours). The journey takes you through changing landscapes: tropical forests, rolling savannahs, and remote villages. Arrive in Santa Elena, gateway to the Gran Sabana and Roraima, and check into your hotel for a well-earned rest.
After breakfast, transfer by 4×4 (approx. 80 km, 2.5 hours) to Paraitepuy village, the starting point for your Roraima trek. Hike 14 km (5-6 hours) across open savannah to the Kukenán River camp. Enjoy your first night under the stars with dinner cooked by your trekking team.
Continue your trek (approx. 10 km, 4-5 hours) through wild landscapes, crossing rivers and admiring the looming tepuis. Reach Roraima Base Camp at 1,800 meters, where you’ll camp at the foot of the great table mountain.
Today’s hike (approx. 4 km, 4-5 hours) is challenging, ascending the ramp to Roraima’s summit at 2,700 meters. Enter a lost world of strange rock formations, endemic plants, and breathtaking views. Set up camp on the summit.
Spend a full day exploring Roraima’s summit. Hike to the Crystal Valley, see the Jacuzzis (natural pools), the triple border marker, and unique landscapes found nowhere else on earth. Camp another night on the summit.
Begin your descent, retracing your steps down the ramp (approx. 4 km, 3-4 hours) to Base Camp. Enjoy your final night in the shadow of Roraima, sharing stories and stargazing.
Trek 14 km back to Paraitepuy (5-6 hours), then transfer by 4×4 (80 km, 2.5 hours) to Santa Elena. Celebrate your achievement with a comfortable bed and hearty meal.
Start your 3-day Gran Sabana Jeep Safari. Travel by 4×4 (approx. 180 km, 4-5 hours) across the open savannah, visiting waterfalls like Salto Kama and Pozo Escondido. Swim in crystal-clear pools and stay overnight in a rustic lodge or camp.
Continue your safari (approx. 100 km, 3-4 hours), visiting the iconic Salto Aponwao waterfall (including a boat ride), and meet Pemón indigenous communities. Learn about their traditions and enjoy local meals. Overnight in the Gran Sabana.
Visit more natural wonders, such as Quebrada de Jaspe (a stream with red jasper stones), before returning by 4×4 (approx. 180 km, 4-5 hours) to Santa Elena. Spend your last night in this frontier town.
After breakfast, embark on the return journey north (approx. 690 km, 10-11 hours) to Puerto Ordaz. Arrive in the evening and check into your posada for your final night in southern Venezuela.
A private transfer brings you to the airport for your flight back to Caracas (approx. 1 hour). Depending on your schedule, you may continue your journey or connect to your international flight home
